City of Moreton Bay

Fins for Life Campaign

Dale Travers Photography was commissioned to create the still photography for Moreton Bay City Council’s Fins For Life campaign, which launched to more than 23,000 attendees during the Cowboys vs Dolphins clash at Suncorpo Stadium before rolling out across BVOD and social media.

Dale worked alongside the video production team to create a cohesive suite of campaign imagery designed to work seamlessly across print, digital and social platforms. The focus was on creating strong, engaging stills that complemented the wider campaign and could be used across multiple applications.

Drawing on experience producing commercial campaigns both across Australia and internationally, we spent two full production days photographing throughout the Redcliffe region, capturing authentic moments that brought together Dolphins NRL players, the Mayor and community mascots in everyday fan experiences. The result was a dynamic image library designed to complement the motion content while standing confidently as a campaign in its own right.

Working seamlessly alongside agencies, councils and production crews is central to our approach. By integrating stills and motion from the outset, we help ensure every visual asset shares a consistent look and feel, strengthening the impact of the campaign across every platform.

The campaign has already generated strong engagement across South East Queensland, celebrating community pride while showcasing the collaboration between council, club and local supporters. It’s another example of how thoughtful visual storytelling can connect people, build regional identity and contribute to the momentum leading into Brisbane 2032.
